BCFPERS approves $30m in commitments

The US public pension has backed a pair of infrastructure vehicles.

Baltimore City Fire and Police Employees’ Retirement System confirmed $30 million-worth of infrastructure commitments to two funds at its November 2020 board meeting, according to recently-released meeting minutes on the pension’s website.

The commitments comprised $15 million apiece to Carlyle Renewable & Sustainable Energy Fund and ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III.

As illustrated below, the $3 billion US public pension’s recent infrastructure commitments have tended to target energy, transport and renewables investments.
