Houston Firefighters’ agrees to $70m commitment

The US public pension has approved a commitment to an infrastructure fund focused on unlisted equity investments.

Houston Firefighters’ Relief and Retirement Fund has agreed to commit $70 million to EQT Infrastructure Fund IV pending final due diligence and negotiations, a contact at the pension informed Infrastructure Investor.

The $4.16 billion US public pension has listed this investment as part of its private equity investments, which currently stands at 13.0 percent.
