Law firm Hunton & Williams is strengthening its UK team with the relocation of Richmond, Virginia-based energy infrastructure partner Ryan Ketchum to London.
Ketchum “focuses on the development, construction, financing, purchase and sale of energy and infrastructure projects worldwide, with a particular emphasis on frontier and emerging markets,” Hunton & Williams said in a statement.
He has worked on several major projects, including counselling the government of Uganda on the development of the $872 million Bujagali hydroelectric project and advising on the financing of a $650 million fibre optic cable linking South Africa, Mozambique and Madagascar.
In addition to relocating Ketchum, Hunton & Williams recently promoted Dr. Kirk A. Lovric to counsel, as part of its strategy to grow the UK team, the law firm said. Lovric specialises in transport and energy infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe.
