Korea Post to award a $500m infra mandate

The South Korean national postal service provider gathers its pace for global core infrastructure investments.

Korea Post has issued an RFP to seek funds to invest in global infrastructure investments, especially in North America, Europe and Australia.

It aims to invest up to $500 million, or a maximum of 20 percent of the total commitment of the fund. Meanwhile, the fund size must be at least $1 billion at their final close while the allocation to the energy sector (excluding renewables) in North America region should not be more than 20 percent of the fund.

Korea Post manages approximately KRW120 trillion of total assets and allocates around 1.5 percent to infrastructure investments.
