MainePERS approves $100m commitment

Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) has agreed to commit $100 million to Carlyle Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund, a contact at the pension informed Infrastructure Investor.

The $14.50 billion US public pension has a 10.0 percent target allocation to infrastructure that currently stands at 11.70 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, MainePERS has made four commitments to infrastructure funds with a 2018 or 2019 vintage which combined constitute $425 million.
