A.P. Moller Capital raises $865m

The Denmark-based fund management company holds interim close for Africa-focused fund.

A.P. Moller‘s Africa Infrastructure Fund held a second close in February at $865 million. The $1 billion-targeting fund invests in energy, power, transmission sectors and road, rail and airports across Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Egypt, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, Morocco, Ethiopia and Senegal.

Danica Pension, Danske Invest, SEB Pensionsforsikring and SEB Pension och Försäkring each committed to the fund in the six months since its first close.
