Rutland recruits transaction specialist

UK turnaround specialist Rutland Partners has hired transaction services specialist Liam Camburn from KPMG, boosting its investment team to ten people.

UK buyout firm Rutland Partners has boosted its investment team to ten with the hire of accountant Liam Camburn.

Camburn joins from big four accountant KPMG, where he worked for the former Private Equity Transaction Services team that came across to the firm following the demise of Arthur Andersen.

The latest hire expands Rutland’s team to ten people, following last month’s hire of Daniel Freed from CIBC World Markets.

Rutland specialises in restructuring or assisting with strategic change at underperforming companies. It held a first close on its second fund in November last year at £312 million.
