The objective is to build eNordic into a €3bn holding with a generation capacity of 1.6GW over the next five years.  
Taking its motives at face value, there is no obvious reason for the Government Pension Fund Global not to invest across the wider infra universe.
The move comes less than a month after the government said the fund would stop investing in upstream oil and gas.
The investment was made on behalf of an Australian LP and a new European client.

The Chinese fund manager is acquiring Boreal Group, which saw EBITDA growth of 285% during Cube’s seven-year ownership.
