Temasek backs NIIF for $400m investments

The S$308 billion Singapore government-owned investment company invests in India’s sovereign wealth fund to pursue Indian infrastructure opportunities.

Temasek has signed an agreement with the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) for Indian infrastructure investments of up to $400 million, including co-investment opportunities.

With the agreement, Temasek becomes an investor in NIIF’s Master Fund and one of the shareholders in National Investment and Infrastructure Limited.
