A total of $21.8 billion has been raised by unlisted infrastructure fund managers so far in 2015. $11.5 billion of the total has been raised by fund managers based in the United States, including Blackstone’s second global energy fund which closed at $4.5 billion and I Squared Capital's debut global fund which attracted $3 billion. Firms based in the United States continue to dominate unlisted infrastructure fundraising.
Firms from the United Kingdom held the second place, having raised $4.6 billion. Hermes GPE Infrastructure Fund received over £1 billion and Pantheon Global Infrastructure Fund II held a closing at $1 billion.  Australia was the third most successful country – Colonial First State Global Asset Management raised €2 billion.
