Aviva Investors hires four for infra

The asset management arm of the UK’s largest general insurance firm has added two debt professionals and two analysts.

Aviva Investors, the global asset management arm of UK insurance giant Aviva, has made four new hires to its infrastructure team in London.

Susannah Stock and Elizabeth Lutley have joined the firm’s infrastructure debt team. Stock previously worked as a director of project finance at Lloyds Banking Group and as a consultant to HSBC Infrastructure Company, while Lutley was formerly a director at Credit Agricole.

Meanwhile, David Jerez and Emmanuel de Ladoucette have joined the team as analysts.

“We are delighted to be growing our team across infrastructure debt and direct investing,” said Laurence Monnier, Aviva Investors’ head of infrastructure debt, in a statement. “These new faces to the team reflect the appetite in growing our capabilities in providing infrastructure finance across the UK and Europe.”

Aviva Investors has made infrastructure commitments of more than £1.8 billion (€2.3 billion; $3.1 billion) through funds and mandates across a range of strategies including direct investments in projects and infrastructure debt in the UK and continental Europe.

The statement added that the firm “expects to continue to grow its infrastructure capabilities in the coming months with additional hires”.

Aviva Investors operates in 15 countries in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America and had assets under management of £241 billion at the end of last year.
