French bank BNP Paribas has appointed Mark Waters head of debt capital markets in the Gulf Region.
Waters will take on his role in the bank’s structured finance and fixed income units. Based in Bahrain, He will report locally to Eric Josserand and functionally to Dominique Leca in London for fixed income and to the London office for structured finance.

Waters will provide access for borrowers in the region to the public and private debt markets. He was previously responsible for the corporate and financial institution syndicated loan origination business for the region over the last five years.
He takes on his role with immediate effect and he will relocate to Bahrain in September.Â
Global asset management firm Investcorp raised a €620 million ($855 million) for the region last month.
