Cube Infrastructure expands management team

European fund manager, Cube Infrastructure, has made two appointments to its management team. The new appointees take the total number of professionals in the management team to 16.

Cube Infrastructure, a Natixis-sponsored infrastructure fund manager, has expanded its management team by appointing Stephane Calas and Christian Coco as investment directors, according to a press release issued by the company. Natixis is the corporate and investment banking arm of French banking group BPCE.

Calas has over 14 years of experience in M&A and infrastructure finance. Before joining Cube he spent nine years at Dresdner Kleinwort and Commerzbank, most recently as head of infrastructure in the M&A advisory team.

Prior to joining Cube, Coco worked with Valiance Capital Infrastructure fund, Mediobanca, Dalmine Energie and ENI. He has over 11 years of experience in investing and finance in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

The appointment of two new investment directors brings the total number of professionals in Cube’s management team to 16.

Cube Infrastructure invests on behalf of institutional investors from Canada, the US, Germany, the UK, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Denmark and France. The fund recently closed total investor commitments for its debut fund on €1.08 billion, in excess of its €1 billion target.
