Eaton Partners has hired Olav Konig, a former Capital Dynamics executive, as a partner to co-head the firm’s European fundraising efforts along with partner Franklyn Chang.
Konig joins Eaton after working at Capital Dynamics as head of business development, where he was responsible for building a global distribution and client coverage team, according to a statement from Eaton Partners.
“The addition of Olav … cements the leadership of our London office with a local professional, and further builds out the firm’s presence in Europe,” Charlie Eaton, head of Eaton Partners, said in a statement. The firm has eight employees in its London office.
Eaton also announced the hiring of Christopher Maduri as vice president in the firm’s La Jolla, California office. Prior to Eaton, Maduri was a vice president at Triton Pacific Capital, where he provided strategic advisory and private equity placement services to real estate and infrastructure managers.
In July, the firm hired Ajay Ahuja as its chief financial officer and chief operating officer. Earlier this year, Eaton hired former Jefferies fundraiser Silvia Calvo-Alcala to work in the London office.
Capital Dynamics has experienced some turnover this year. In September, Hamilton Lane announced it had hired two investment professionals from Capital Dynamics – Ricardo Fernandez Silva and Felipe Caldas – to run its Brazil headquarters. In May, Christian Diller, former head of solutions, and Marco Wulff, co-head of the fund of fund’s secondary investment operations, formed independent firm Montana Capital Partners.
