ERS approves $100m commitment

Employees Retirement System of Texas has agreed to commit $100 million to KKR Asia Pacific Infrastructure Investors, according to a recent report on the pension’s website. This is the first commitment ERS has made to an infrastructure vehicle managed by KKR.

The $28.67 billion US public pension has a 7.0 percent target allocation to infrastructure that currently stands at 2.68 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, ERS has made three commitments to infrastructure funds with a 2018 or 2019 vintage, which combined constitute $293.30 million.
