Foresight poaches Macquarie fundraiser(4)

Foresight Group has appointed Meredith Lee as sales director. She leaves Macquarie Capital where she was responsible for business development, fundraising and investor relations.

Alternative asset manager Foresight Group has appointed Meredith Lee as Sales Director. She will be responsible for fund raising for the group’s solar funds from institutional funds across the UK and Europe.

Lee is joining Foresight from Macquarie Capital, where as a senior manager she was responsible for business development, fundraising and investor relations.

She will be based in Sevenoaks in Southeast England.

Earlier this month Foresight secured a €25 million project financing for a solar project in Puglia in Italy. Foresight has so far raised over €40 million for its first European solar fund, which was launched in November last year. A second solar infrastructure fund, with a target of €200 million, is expected to come to market later this year.
