Global Summit rescheduled to June in Berlin

Our flagship summit has been rescheduled and will take place 22-25 June, in Berlin, due to increasing concerns related to the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).

PEI, organiser of Infrastructure Investor Global Summit, the annual meeting of the world’s infrastructure fund industry, today announces that the 2020 edition of the event has been rescheduled and will take place 22-25 June, in Berlin.

The Global Summit’s original March dates are changing due to increasing concerns related to the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).

“The safety and health of our many thousands of clients, our partners and our own personnel is paramount. Given fast changing developments as Covid-19 advances, the only appropriate action is to postpone the Global Summit to the end of June 2020,” said PEI Chief Executive Tim McLoughlin.

“We’ve of course been in continuous dialogue with our customers and after much deliberation have come to the decision that a reappointment of dates will provide our international Infrastructure Investor participants a fresh opportunity to achieve their business objectives.

“These are unprecedented days, yet our clients have remained steadfast and hugely supportive as we have sought to deliver the event they want. We thank them for that continued eagerness and commitment.

“Now we look forward to an ongoing conversation with all our industry partners about the Global Summit, which is now in June,” McLoughlin added.

PEI will be communicating regularly with the Infrastructure Investor community to provide details of the Global Summit in June.
