IMRF confirms $25m commitment

Illinois Municipal Retirement System has approved a $25 million commitment to EnCap Energy Transition Fund I, according to minutes from the pension’s July 2020 board meeting.

EnCap Investments launched Transition Fund I, its first clean energy-focused fund in October 2019. The vehicle is targeting $1.5 billion in equity capital.

The $43.11 billion US public pension has a 0.11 percent allocation to infrastructure.
