KKR raises $3.3bn

The New York firm has raised capital for its Asia-Pacific-focused fund.

KKR raised $3.3 billion for KKR Asia Pacific Infrastructure Investors, according to a Form D filed by the firm. Capital raised will be used to make unlisted equity investments in infrastructure companies throughout the Asia-Pacific region across diversified sectors.

The fund has received commitments from several institutional investors, including $100 million from Employees Retirement System of Texas and $100 million from Fubon Life Insurance.
