Kulig promoted to partner at Innova Capital

The Central and Eastern Europe-focused private equity firm has promoted one of its managing directors to partner.

Warsaw-based private equity firm Innova Capital has promoted managing director Krysztof Kulig to partner.

Kulig has been part of Innova Capital’s investment team for the past five years, focusing on investments in financial services, B2B services and IT across Central and Eastern Europe.

Deals he was involved in include Polish debt and credit card firm Polcard and financial products broker Dom Finansowy.

Prior to joining Innova, Kulig worked for executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles, where he was a principal consultant and head of the e-business and professional services operations.

Before that, Kulig worked for five years at payment services firm Euronet Services, where he was the managing director and vice president of the Polish subsidiary.

Founded in 1994 by Steve Buckley and Robert Conn, Innova Capital manages over $330 million (€274 million) in three funds: Poland Partners, Innova 98, and Innova 3.
