Laegernes Pensionskasse commits to new CIP fund

The Danish pension has backed Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners' newest infrastructure fund.

Laegernes Pensionskasse has approved a commitment to Copenhagen Infrastructure New Markets Fund I, according to PensionDanmark.

The Danish public pension is investing alongside PensionDanmark, KLP Insurance Pension Fund and ATP. The total amount committed by these four investors totals $700 million (Dkr4.7 billion).

As illustrated in the charts below, Laegenernes Pensionskasse is a repeat investor to funds managed by CIP having previously committed to funds CIP II and III.
