LPP seeks external investment advice

Local Pensions Partnership (LPP), a collaboration between Lancashire County Pension Fund and London Pensions Fund Authority, issues proposals to look for external experts for due diligence assessments of alternative investments.

This move aims to balance the current investment selection mechanism, under which investments would only be evaluated and considered internally. The proposed “devil’s advocate” will cover private credit, private equity, infrastructure and liquid alternative strategies
