MainePERS confirms €170m in commitments

The US public pension has backed a pair of infrastructure funds.

Maine Public Employees Retirement System approved €170 million-worth of commitments to a pair of infrastructure funds at its March board meeting, a contact at the pension informed Infrastructure Investor.

The commitments comprised €85 million each to Cube Infrastructure Fund III and Meridiam Infrastructure European IV.

The $16.6 billion US public pension has a 10 percent target allocation to infrastructure which currently stands at 10.3 percent.
