New Mexico State Investment Council commits to Sandbrook Climate Infrastructure Fund I and its co-investment.

New Mexico State Investment Council has approved commitments of $75 million to Sandbrook Climate Infrastructure Fund I and $75 million to Sandbrook Climate Infrastructure Co-Investment, according to the November meeting materials of the council.

Sandbrook Climate Infrastructure Fund I is the inaugural climate infrastructure fund of Sandbrook Capital and has a target size of $1 billion. The fund focuses on investments in energy transition strategy and was launched in November 2021.

Founded in 2021, Sandbrook Capital is a Stamford-headquartered firm that targets investments in energy infrastructure and impact companies contributing to tackling climate change.
