New York State Common Retirement Fund has approved a commitment of $300 million to the first tranche of Blackstone’s open-ended Infrastructure Partners fund, according to the pension’s latest monthly report.

The $210.20 billion US public pension has a 1.0 percent allocation to infrastructure.

New York State Common Retirement Fund has made three commitments to infrastructure funds with a 2018 vintage, which combined constitute $1.16 billion.
