Oklahoma Firefighters issues RFP for private infra manager

The US public pension is seeking a first-time private infrastructure manager.

Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System has issued an RFP for an open-ended private infrastructure equity manager, according to the pension’s website. This manager relationship will mark the pension’s first foray into private infrastructure.

The RFP requires that prospective managers have at least $1 billion in assets under management in infrastructure strategies; have an existing five-year live track record experience as either open- or closed-ended infrastructure investment vehicles; and be sufficiently diversified by sector and geography.

Oklahoma is seeking to allocate $90-$120 million to the selected manager.
