Scotiabank, the Canadian bank, has recruited Rocio Lozano as an associate director in its global infrastructure finance team in London.
Lozano was previously at Banco Santander for more than eight years as a project and acquisition finance associate. She has worked on structurings, financings and acquisitions including Vinci Park, E.ON Energy, Gatwick Airport and Yorkshire Water.
In February this year, former associate director Mike Nowak left the team that Lozano has joined, having been part of it for five years. He moved to become a London-based executive director at Italian bank Mediobanca.
“Building on Scotiabank’s industry track record and to address the growing pipeline of opportunities, the bank is dedicated to expanding the global infrastructure team,” said John Kirwan, managing director of global infrastructure finance at Toronto-based Scotiabank in a statement.
