Texas ERS approves additional $43.3m to previous commitment

The US public pension has increased its commitment to an Actis infrastructure fund.

Employees Retirement System of Texas (Texas ERS) has committed an additional $43.3 million to Actis Long Life Infrastructure Fund, bringing its total commitment to $93.3 million.

The $29 billion US pension has a 6 percent target allocation of infrastructure that currently stands at 1.96 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, Texas ERS also invests in private equity with a current allocation of 13.21 percent against a 12 percent target. The pensions’ real estate allocation is currently 6.9 percent against a 9 percent target.
