TRS continues its effort on infrastructure investments

The US pension fund commits $250m to a global infra fund.

Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) has committed $250 million to Carlyle’s $2.5 billion Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund.

The fund represents the second infrastructure-dedicated investment in 2017 after the €95 million commitment to EQT Fund Management’s co-invest platform.
