UVM approves $7m commitment

The US-based institution has backed a venture capital fund.

University of Vermont has confirmed a $7 million commitment to Ecosystem Integrity Fund IV, according to the foundation’s February 2020 investment subcommittee meeting minutes. The venture capital fund will invest in the Clean Tech, Renewable, and Natural Resources sectors.

The $551.10 million US foundation currently allocates nearly half of its investment portfolio to alternative assets.
