WSIB considers $500m in fund recommendations

The following recommendations were presented at the Washington State Investment Board’s Private Markets Committee meeting on February 2: an investment of up to $200 million to Orion Mine Finance Fund II and up to $300 million to Geronimo Renewable Infrastructure Partners. The recommendations will be reviewed for approval at its next Board meeting on February 16.

The $112 billion US public pension has a 30 percent current allocation to alternative investments.
