ATRS confirms $50m commitment

The US public pension has backed KKR's open-end North American infrastructure vehicle.

Arkansas Teacher Retirement System has confirmed a $50 million commitment to KKR Diversified Core Infrastructure Fund, according to materials from the pension’s July  board meeting.

KKR launched the open-end infrastructure fund, which is targeting $5 billion in equity capital, in December 2020. As of 31 June, two-thirds of that target has been reached.

The $20.23 billion US public pension has a 2 percent target allocation to infrastructure that currently stands at 1.4 percent.
