Berkshire vice-chairman lends weight to nationwide electricity grid(5)

Charles Munger said during the firm’s annual shareholder meeting that a nationwide electricity grid should be the ‘number one’ investment the US government makes in its infrastructure. Berkshire owns energy producer MidAmerican Energy Holdings, which owns about 171,000 miles of transmission lines.
