Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund is searching for a new infrastructure fund manager for 2020, a contact at the pension informed Infrastructure Investor.

Chicago Teachers’ has issued a broad RFP for prospective managers, with desired fund sectors or strategies unclear as of yet. It is known however that the pension is intending to commit $40 million from its infrastructure portfolio this calendar year, with the allocated capital potentially being split between the potential new manager and an existing one.
