Connecticut confirms $125m commitment

The US public pension has backed a climate-focused infrastructure vehicle.

Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds has approved a $125 million commitment to Climate Adaptive Infrastructure Fund, according to the pension’s January meeting minutes.

The Climate Adaptive Infrastructure Fund will invest into European and North American markets and into a variety of sectors including energy, transport and social infrastructure.

The $44 billion US public pension recent infrastructure commitments, as illustrated below, have included predominantly European and North American focused vehicles.
