David Gribbin has rejoined Macquarie Capital as a managing director. His first day back at Macquarie was 2 February.

Gribbin previously served as the general counsel for the United States Department of Transportation. In that role, he served as the principal legal advisor to the Secretary of Transportation under former President George W Bush, Mary Peters. He had served in that role from early 2007 until 20 January, when President Bush left office.
Prior to his work at the Department of Transportation, Gribbin was a managing director at Macquarie based in Washington DC.
Gribbin will now be based in New York and Washington DC. He will serve in a transaction advisory capacity across various sectors and industries.
Gribbin also served as the chief counsel to the Federal Highway Administration from 2003 to 2005. It was in that capacity that he first worked for Peters, who headed the Federal Highway Administration until 2005.
