Eastspring partners with IFC for infrastructure in emerging markets

The insurer's subsidiary joins force with IFC to modernise infrastructure in emerging markets by 2021.

Eastspring Investment signs an agreement with International Finance Corporation (IFC) and commits $500 million to the MCPP Infrastructure Program.

IFC will originate transactions and provide Eastspring with co-lending opportunities in all deals that fit with Eastspring's investment strategy.

The Program seeks $5 billion from global institutional investors and aims to foster the capital flows to power, water, transportation, and telecommunications systems in developing countries.
