EIB approves €75m commitment

The US public pension has backed a European infrastructure fund.

European Investment Bank has agreed to commit €75 million to INFRAGREEN IV, published on pension’s newsroom section.

The fund is dedicated to investing and financing infrastructure projects linked to energy transition and adaptation to climate change. It has invested and committed in European infrastructure projects, and in particular in France, making it possible to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

As illustrated below, the pension fund’s recent commitments are to vehicles focused on the transport, renewables, energy and utilities sector within the Europe and Middle East/Africa regions.
