GCM Grosvenor raises $497m

GCM Grosvenor has raised $497 million for its GCM Grosvenor Customized Infrastructure Strategies II, according to a SEC filing. The Chicago-headquartered firm began fundraising in 2016 with an undisclosed target.

Investors that committed to GCM Grosvenor Customized Infrastructure Strategies II include the Michigan Department of Treasury, the North Dakota Teachers' Fund for Retirement and the Falkirk Council Pension Fund.

The fund will target unlisted equity opportunities in a diverse number of sectors globally.
