Lincoln International, an investment bank headquartered in Chicago, has appointed Tomas Freyman as managing director in its valuations and opinions group.
Based in London, Freyman will be responsible for leading valuation and financial advisory assignments for clients including developers, funds, utilities and corporate entities.
Freyman has a deep background in infrastructure and energy, having joined Lincoln from UK accountancy firm BDO, where he established a valuation unit dedicated to the renewables sector.
In this role, he advised on several gigawatts of generation capacity across onshore wind, solar and biomass assets for global infrastructure funds and asset managers.
In his earlier career, Freyman was a member of the infrastructure advisory team at Ernst & Young in London after spending seven years in the valuations unit at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
His energy experience also includes oil and gas assignments, some of which he carried out during a three-year stint in PwC’s Moscow outpost.
