MainePERS approve $100m commitment

The US public pension has backed an unlisted equity fund.

Maine Public Employees Retirement System approved a $100 commitment to KKR’s open-ended infrastructure fund, a contact at the pension informed Infrastructure Investor.

The fund, KKR Diversified Core Infrastructure Fund (open-ended), will invest into unlisted equity opportunites in North America.

The $18.2 billion US public pension has a 10 percent target allocation to infrastructure which currently stands at 10.4 percent.
