Paris-based Natixis has recruited Jonathan Kim to fill the position of managing director, head of global infrastructure projects (GIP) for the Americas.
The appointment follows news last month that former managing director of GIP Americas Olivier Delay is relocating to the French capital to fulfill his new role as Natixis' global head of aviation, export and infrastructure finance.Â
Kim brings more than 20 years of industry experience along with him as he moves to Natixis from CIBC World Markets, where his most recent position saw him serving as executive director of project finance and infrastructure since 2012. Prior to his CIBC experience, Kim was a director in The Royal Bank of Scotland's New York branch for nearly six years, and before that he was a director for West LB's corporate and structured finance group.Â
In his new position, Kim is reporting to head of structured and asset finance, Americas Benjamin Sirgue, and global head of GIP Christine Champion.Â
