NN Investment Partners boosts team

The Dutch debt provider, formerly known as ING Investment Management, has hired Kees-Jan van de Kamp to its infrastructure & project finance unit.

The Netherlands’ NN Investment Partners (NN IP) has appointed Kees-Jan van de Kamp to its infrastructure & project finance team in The Hague.

Formerly known as ING Investment Management, the firm rebranded to NN IP in April this year. ING Group, the former parent, has a stake of 25.8 percent in the business which it has pledged to divest by the end of 2016.

Van de Kamp has joined from the Netherlands’ NIBC Bank, where he spent the last 14 years in infrastructure and corporate finance across Europe and was based mainly in London and Frankfurt. In his most recent role, he had responsibility for infrastructure & renewables debt capital markets.

NN IP focuses on the European infrastructure market through its expanded private debt offering in illiquid alternative fixed income. In his new role, van de Kamp will be responsible for infrastructure debt origination, execution and portfolio management.

He joins Alistair Perkins and Magdalena Kowalska, who joined NN IP from construction company Skanska last year.

Headquartered in The Hague, NN IP manages approximately €184 billion in assets for institutions and individual investors around the world.
