SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II has held a final close at €380 million, just below its original target of €400 million. The vehicle has already invested in a number of wind and solar farms in Germany, France, Finland, the UK, Portugal and Italy.
The majority of investors are pension funds and insurance companies. The European Investment Bank contributed €62 million to the fund, and €100 million came from a Dutch pension fund in the process of final closing.
The $200 million SUSI Renewable Energy Fund I is now fully invested.
