Andrew Lin leaves Borealis

Lin, a senior vice president at the infrastructure investment arm of OMERS, is considering joining an infrastructure fund post-departure, according to a person close to Lin.

Andrew Lin, a senior vice president at Borealis Infrastructure, has left the firm.

A person close to Lin said he left the firm about a month ago to pursue other opportunities and is considering joining an infrastructure fund.

The person declined to name the infrastructure funds Lin is considering joining.

Lin started with Borealis in May 2001, according to his profile on professional networking website LinkedIn. The profile also shows that he left in 2010.

Borealis is the infrastructure investment arm of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, a C$60 billion (€42 billion; $57.2 billion) pension plan that is working on creating a Global Strategic Investment Alliance of “like-minded investors” to jointly invest in large-scale infrastructure and real estate assets.
