Arizona State University appoints outsourced CIO

The American investor has named a firm to re-imagine its OCIO role.

As of July 1, Arizona State University has appointed Blackrock as its outsourced chief investment officer. In January 2017, the foundation’s Investment Committee requested proposals from qualified investment firms.

ASU, with assets under management totaling $714 million, invests into infrastructure out of its 32 percent allocation to alternatives.
