Commerz Real has held a first close on €1 billion for its open-end Klimavest fund.

The fund was launched in October 2020 to invest in renewable energy generation and sustainable infrastructure.

Founded in 1972, Commerz Real is a Wiesbaden-headquartered asset management firm that specialises in real estate and infrastructure investments across Europe.
