New P3 pro at CIBC

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) has added a public-private partnership (PPP; P3) professional to its infrastructure finance group, according to an internal memorandum.

Toronto-headquartered CIBC has named Tyler Hume a director in the debt capital market infrastructure and project finance team, the memo noted.

Prior to joining CIBC, Hume worked for Investec North America as a P3 adviser. For Investec, Hume was also involved in structuring senior and mezzanine debt in renewable energy.

In addition to Investec, Hume has also worked for ‘Big Four’ auditor KPMG in its infrastructure advisory practice. At CIBC, he will report to managing director and group head Cliff Inskip.
