Jeffrey Parker & Associates, a financial consulting firm focused on US infrastructure and public-private partnerships, has appointed David Peterson and Sue Lee to expand the firm’s operations on the East Coast and West Coast.
“David is going to be focused on our West Coast practice,” said Mike Parker, managing director at Jeffrey Parker. “He’ll be working nationally, but we are building a team in San Francisco.”
Lee, previously a senior associate in project finance at Allen & Overy, will serve as General Counsel in the firm’s Philadelphia office. Lee has worked with private equity sponsors and the federal government, and advised on such projects as HSBC Infrastructure’s proposal for the Windsor-Essex Parkway highway project in Ontario, according to a statement.
Those clients include Metropolitan Transportation Commission, which supervises transportation projects in the nine counties surrounding San Francisco, and the California Transportation Commission, which reviews and evaluates the state's public-private partnership agreements.
The firm has also recently been selected to advise on the Oregon Department of Transportation’s public-private partnerships programme, Parker said.
Jeffrey Parker previously advised the Florida Department of Transportation on the $900 million Port of Miami Tunnel and the $1.6 billion I-595 improvement project.
The firm has also hired an analyst, Benjamin Singer, and anticipates, “a regular hiring on the junior level”, Parker said.
