NYSCRF approves $300m in commitments

The US public pension has backed two infrastructure funds.

New York State Common Retirement Fund has agreed to commit $200 million to Grain Spectrum Holdings III and $100 million to Stonepeak Global Renewables Fund Co-Investment, the pension’s September 2020 monthly report states.

The $216.3 billion US public pension has a 1 percent allocation to infrastructure.

As illustrated below, the pension fund’s recent commitments are to funds focused on the renewables, energy, telecommunications and transport sectors within the Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America regions.
